First of all CONGRATULATIONS to "Amor" [Ian's lil sis] for winning the "PHILLIPINE FIESTA IDOL 2005" in NJ. Yay! we are all so proud of you.  She is the awesomest singer ever! Her version of Kelly Clarkson's "Because of You" is my new favorite song Yay again! And good luck in Stony Brook. You'll kick ass there

Yesterday went to see "The Great Raid" with Ian.  It's about the Japanese POW Camps in the Philipppines during WWII. It's cool cuz Cesar Montano and bunch of other flip actors were there.  Aww so sad too that it made me teary eyed.  Great movie indeed.

Today went shopping with Ian and Amor.  Amor got her school supplies in Chinatown. So jealous that she can still buy blue bear notebooks and pens, while I can only buy pens that will probably get lost at work anyways.  Sigh..wish I can go back to school soon.  Planning maybe a year from now Im gonna apply at Hunter for the Adult Nurse Practitioner program.

Its gonna be a week since I came back from Texas.  I attended a beautiful wedding overviewing the beach in South Padre Island.   We stayed at the island for a good 3 days.  The day of the wedding was hectic, getting our hair done and then alterating my dress, since it came out too long!  The wedding came out nice.  The day after that, we just spent the entire day at the beach.  Clear, warm, extra salty water of the gulf of mexico.   We stayed at the water till our skin got crinkly.  Now I got the perfect tan hehe .  The was a good mini vacation.  Didnt want to come back to NYC but I had to work.

After Texas, worked had been beating me up real bad.  My floor has been full house up til now plus my district is really heavy.  This has been the heaviest I've experienced so far.  In addition to that I've only been getting one day off in between work days. My co worker the other night told me she has been doing overtime all over the rehab floors and she said they are all slower and quieter, especially the pediatrics floor plus she got two hour breaks.  I havent gotten a break for a week now! And Im actually feeling like Im gonna get a fever anytime soon. I was up on my feet for 12 hrs last thursday without eating, felt like I was gonna faint when I got home. Arghh....anyways, here are some of the pics from the wedding  Too lazy to upload every single one of em.

 I've decided on one thing today. Something that I promise to be for the rest of my life.  Something more important than my future and me myself in general.  I've decided ...to be a "philanthropist" to my family...for a very long time.  I want to stick to this philosophy as long as I can.  I want to give more to my family and much less to myself.

Goodbye to Xanga soon .  I realized Im less in touch with my friends becuz of xanga. I dont hear no more phone calls, no more emails, no more meeting up to catch up on things.. it really is sad.  People tend to just think there's no reason to call or meet up becuz  they already know wats going on with my life through xanga. You simply can't compare even a quarter of my day or week with my entries.  I really don't wanna be judged through whatever Im writing in xanga. Yet it's weird that Im writing about this in xanga.

Well, well, I had fun reading everyone's entries.  It kills my time during breaks at work, when I do get one lol. My last entry will probably be from when I come back from Texas, which reminds me I have to pack! Bye peeps! Hope to hear from you all
